Our editorial method
We keep structured fields for names, flavour, kitchen use, geography, cultural notes, sourcing and sources. Uncertain facts remain blank. Every starter entry is labelled Needs Review until a responsible source and reviewer are recorded.
Contribute knowledge
Cooks, growers, traders, researchers and community historians will be invited to improve the catalogue in future phases. Corrections should include the term, region or language concerned and a reliable source where possible.
